New Alcohol Placement Codes Launched

The revised voluntary placement codes for alcohol – Alcohol Marketing, Communications and Sponsorship Codes of Practice were launched today by Ms Mary Wallace T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children. The Codes are available on the ASAI website here.

Also available on the ASAI website is the 2nd Annual Report (for 2007) of the Alcohol Marketing Communications Monitoring Body (AMCMB), the body set up by the Department to oversee the implementation of, and adherence to the Codes of Practice.
